Danza ▪ Multi-Platform Magazine (2020)
This magazine is an exercise I enjoyed doing in a Photoshop course (left), so I decided to develop the idea a little bit further. DANZA is a magazine about dancing, shows, famous dancers and celebrities, trends and pop culture. Its style is inspired in fashion magazines, but it should be fluid, adopting colors and layouts that fit the subject matter.
Print magazine layouts
Fonts used are Bodoni Condensed, a didone/modern serif typeface very associated with haute couture fashion brands, that transmits refinement and class, and Futura, a geometric sans-serif typeface in different styles and weights, because it pairs nicely with Bodoni, it is easier to read for long text and maintains the same sophistication.
Tablet layouts
The black and white pictures are very classy and minimalist, and I think the layout should maintain the same feeling, so I kept everything as simple as possible, with limited use of color, and a more traditional text display.
